From little acorns grow mighty oaks, and AMS has certainly grown a lot in the last few years. A market leader, it prides itself on offering competitive rates and methodical stock handling as well as excellent customer service.
As the company has expanded, so to have the services we provide and our team of dedicated staff operates a professional and reliable business that relies on the personal touch to get things done.
A family run business to this day, the company was founded in 1986 and has grown from strength to strength over the years. A strong work ethic and attention to detail ensure we have successfully increased our capacity and numbers, so that we can provide clients with the best logistical solutions possible.
With over 20 years experience in this industry we have matured into a confident, independent business that now operates from a 9000 square foot enclosed warehouse facility as well as owning approximately 20,000 square feet of external yard storage.
With the business being passed down through two generations of one family, AMS has put customer interfacing at the heart of its success. Our relationships with our clients are of upmost importance to us; and in order to reaffirm those relationships we endeavour to liaise with customers whenever possible.
Added to this the fact that we realize, as a business, that we have responsibility to our local community and the environment, it is easy to see why we have continued to grow year after year. In 2008 we reviewed the way we disposed of any unwanted products and vowed that going forward this would be done in the greenest way possible.
Having the support of a well structured team has been our testament and although we have seen our numbers rise and fall, the back bone of the business remains the same. To provide excellent commercial warehousing facilities and distribution services to an extremely high standard.
